For decades, the Bastion has studied irregularities within Dendrasil’s resonance emissions, frequencies that did not terminate within our measurable reality. At first, they were dismissed as echo artifacts. Then as harmonic distortion. But the deeper our models became, the clearer the truth appeared: Some portion of the tree’s resonance was going somewhere else.

The breakthrough came following excavation of [REDACTED] beneath the eastern fracture zones. Recovered materials designated “Ender Fragments” displayed severe spatial abnormalities. They are Small, black crystalline objects recovered from our test results against the Enderians and the Blazeborns. The fragments exhibited impossible properties: mass fluctuation, non-Euclidean geometry, and sponaneous movement toward concentrated resonance fields. More importantly: They reacted to Dendrasil.

When arranged within a reinforced frame and exposed to synchronized Seal-frequency amplification, the fragments aligned themselves automatically. The chamber’s resonance output exceeded all projected values within seconds. Then reality broke in two.

The center of the frame collapsed inward into a perfect void-space anomaly. All 12 crystals instantly become lit up, and beams of light spouted out of each of them, creating the void-space anomaly. We sent probes in for research. The first probes returned damaged. The second did not return at all. The third transmitted visual data.

The environment beyond the gateway does not resemble our world in any natural sense. Vast empty expanses suspended over impossible depths. Terrain with no visible ecological structure. Monumental architecture inconsistent with any known civilization or species. There were pillars surrounding the island. Obsidian we believe, but further testing must be done. Our researchers are torn. Do we venture forth, or try to disable this void portal until more tests can be done.
